The FAA MedXPress system allows anyone requiring an FAA Medical Certificate or Student Pilot Medical Certificate to electronically complete the FAA Form 8500-8. Information entered into MedXPress will be transmitted to the FAA and will be available for your AME to review at the time of your medical examination.

The Federal Aviation Administration requires that Pilots receive recurring medical examinations.  The examination is performed by an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) who is designated by the Federal Aviation Administration. The AME has the authority to examine applicants for airman medical certificates and to issue and deny issuance of certificates. The regulations of airman medical standards are contained in Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations.

Reports are submitted electronically to the FAA by our office.  EKG testing is required only for First Class Applicants at age 35 and yearly after age 40.  Other Tests as required by the FAA will be transmitted electronically.
