Referrals­­— Please refer to your insurance plan manual for your

referral policy. Referrals to specialists for new patients will be authorized only after an initial visit. We require one week for the processing of referrals for routine visits. Emergency referrals will be done on a case by case basis. Once completed, referrals can be retrieved online.  All insurance companies who require referrals also require specialists to retrieve them electronically.

Billing:   Our office accepts payment in cash, personal check, Visa or MasterCard.  It is very important that you have your current address, phone number, and insurance card with you when you check in.  If a payment or co-payment is due prior to being seen, it will be collected when you check in.  The responsibility for payment of fees, including copayments and deductibles, is the direct responsibility of the patient, not his or her insurance carrier. To prevent high administrative costs which would adversely affect the fees we charge, it is our policy to ask for co-payment and deductibles at the time of your visit.  Our billing and collections are provided through our office.  If you have any questions about your account, please call (908) 782-8019.
